π According to Sir Halim, who is one of Radibems's technician, he said that common breakdown in medical equipment is on the surface-mount device (SMD) which caused by the electronics components. Mostly board is damage because of the active components. Mainboard usually breakdown due to fuse exploded, broken or leaked capacitor and MOSFET. Power supply usually breakdown due to the voltage regulator and MOSFET. On SMD, the electronics components are too tiny and have its own diameter range. Different diameters give a different value for each component. If the diameter is not in the normal range, it will be considered as faulty but if the IC is damaged, the whole board will be replaced because IC is the main part on the board.

π Discussion on survey analysis and division of scope of work. For A Characteristics Error False Alarm Detection, the scope is on power supply board and charging board of patient monitor. Supervisor asked to conduct some experimental testing of operator error that related to the scope of work. He showed some of the sound sensor modules and asked to buy it for the experimental testing. Supervisor also has been informed about the appointment for a survey session at Selayang Hospital on Thursday next week (25th April 2019) at 3 o'clock.
3. Notes
π Analog sensors that are used to sense sound level are called sound sensors. These analog sound sensors translate the amplitude of the acoustic volume of the sound into an electrical voltage for sensing sound level. This process requires some circuitry and utilizes microcontroller along with a microphone for creating an analog output signal.
